Jark Recruitment launches new division in Reading
Jark Recruitment, one of the top one hundred recruitment companies in the UK, is launching the second phase of its new commercial division in Reading. The company, which achieved a record group turnover of £32.36 million last year, chose to open its second commercial office in Reading because of the thriving business community and close proximity to the South of England.Jark Recruitment, who has until now specialised in the industrial, driving, construction and healthcare recruitment sectors, diversified into commercial recruitment when it opened an office in the Docklands area just one month ago, and now Station Road in Reading is home to its second commercial branch. The branch officially opens on December 11 and will be run by eight staff, including sales consultants and support staff.
From Reading, Jark Recruitment will embark on an ambitious expansion plan for the commercial division, which will include the opening of 20 further commercial offices across the country by 2010.
Jacalyn Parker, Commercial Divisional Manager of Jark Recruitment, comments: “We are delighted to launch the second office of the commercial division in Reading. At the hub of the Thames Valley, Reading gives us the opportunity to supply temporary and permanent commercial recruitment solutions to thousands of recruits across a large and prosperous area, as well as providing us with a platform to branch into the South of England.”
Jacalyn, who joined Jark Recruitment in May and has 13 years experience in the commercial recruitment industry, continues: “We are confident that in a competitive market environment we will be successful. We have set ourselves high start out targets that we are confident will separate us from other agencies straight away. Customer service and candidate retention are central to the way we work, and we pride ourselves on always being able to offer our clients flexible and cost effective recruitment solutions, which is something the company has been doing across the industrial, driving, construction and healthcare recruitment industries since it launched in 1996.
