At Jark Healthcare, the quality of the staff we provide is of the utmost importance. Staff development plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing staff skills and knowledge. All workers new to Jark undertake an induction in line with ‘Skills for Care' guidelines and are encouraged to attend additional courses during their time with us to maintain and update their skills and knowledge.
Additional training programmes include key areas of elderly, mental health, learning difficulties, end of life, physical disabilities, sensory impairment and acquired brain injury. Due to the wealth of internal training available, Jark Healthcare staff can be trained to meet very specific client needs, including complex continuing and short-term conditions, and clients whose needs require carers with skills and training in more than one discipline.
All care staff are encouraged to undertake additional training to gain further industry qualifications. Our staff are our ambassadors in the world of healthcare and we pride ourselves on the training process to ensure that the quality and suitability of all staff match the needs of our clients.
