Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Hours: Monday to Friday – 6:00am to 4:00pm or 7:00am to 5:00pm
Pay: £14.77 per hour PAYE or £16.55 per hour (including rolled-up holiday pay)

360 Loading Shovel Operator – Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 360 Loading Shovel Operator to join a busy recycling and waste management operation based in Widnes, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating a 360 Loading Shovel safely and efficiently.
Loading hoppers, crushers and processing equipment.
Loading and unloading bulk materials from HGVs.
Stockpiling and moving materials around the site.
Carrying out daily pre-use vehicle checks and reporting defects.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Working in accordance with all site health and safety procedures.
Assisting with general site duties when required.

Requirements:
Valid 360 Loading Shovel Licence/Certificate (NPORS or CPCS) – Essential.
Previous experience operating a loading shovel in a recycling, quarry, waste management or similar environment.
Good understanding of site health and safety.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
Own transport is preferred due to the shift start times.

What’s on Offer:
Monday to Friday working.
Choice of shifts: 6:00am – 4:00pm or 7:00am – 5:00pm.
£14.77 per hour PAYE.
£16.55 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay.
Weekly pay.
Ongoing, full-time work.
