Graduate Design & Development Engineer

My client, a Manufacturing company based in the Stourport area of Worcestershire is looking to recruit a Design and Development Engineer on a Permanent basis.

You will design and develop new products and maintain designs, drawings and product documentation of existing group products.

The main responsibilities associated with this role includes

– Understand new products created and have a good understanding of existing ones
– Adhere to agreed timescales and budgets
– Using AutoCAD/Solidworks on a daily basis to create, draw and contribute concept ideas for new products
– Generate creative ideas/solutions to move products forward
– Arrange manufacture pf prototypes
– Perform product testing
– Create and maintain product documentation

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

– Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD/Solidworks
– Lots of experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders
– Excellent communication skills with an ability to get on people at all levels of business
– Be comfortable to visit client sites to understand requirements customer
– There may be some requirements to travel abroad to meet with customers

The salary for this role is up to £32,000

Rate of Pay

£29,000.00 – £32,000.00 per year
