Our client is a leading company within the utilities industry and is responsible for supplying millions of homes and businesses throughout the UK with gas and electricity.
A position has become available within the company for a smart metering specialist to design the companys smart metering strategy and to support the development of asset management within the company. As the meter strategy manager you will also be required to ensure effective cost saving where applicable and push the business forward in the most effective way possible.
We are looking for individuals with a technical understanding of metering, preferable within the electricity industry. Knowledge of smart metering programmes is required. Candidates must have a strong commercial awareness along with a good understanding of how smart metering fits in with current government plans.
