Logistics Co-ordinator

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Logistics Manager the Logistics Co-Ordinator role requires an ordered and methodical approach to coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics movements for the UK manufacturing unit. Primarily working in unison with Sales, Production and Purchasing to plan logistics movements, you will also need to work well under pressure to manage and resolve unplanned events. The role is in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and tenacity to chase tasks through is paramount. Experience with logistics in a previous role is desired.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Arranging all inbound deliveries through transport agents and providing required paperwork and bookings
· Organising despatch of finished goods and producing accurate export paperwork where required
· Arranging a proportion of other despatches via courier or alternative transport methods
· Coordinating between the Yard team and other departments
· Maintaining the Transport plan and ensuring accurate booking information is available for all teams
· Producing accurate import documents
· Maintaining a constant communication with transport agents to ensure we have the most up to date information and updating relevant teams when necessary.
· General office administration duties including filing and record keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Ability to use SAGE 200 job relevant modules
· Experience with MS Office including MS Excel
· A basic understanding of ISO9001:2015 and job relevant processes
· Time management
· Multi-tasking
· Ability to prioritise
Hours 7 am to 3.45pm with half hour lunch
Salary £23-3
26k depending upon experience
Holiday 20 days plus Bank Holidays and accrual for long service
Pension Matched salary sacrifice at 5%
