My client based on Hartlebury Trading Estate is looking to recruit a Transport Administrator on a temporary basis, the assignment should last minimum of 9 months. This is an opportunity to work in a busy and friendly team transport team so they are looking for a suitable candidate with a can-do attitude, someone who thrives on hard work and can demonstrate tolerance and support to drivers of different nationalities.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Support Incoming Drivers with relevant paperwork
- Liaise with customers by phone and email
- Work with colleagues in different departments to create Management Information/Reports on a weekly basis
- Scheduling work onto internal database
- general admin as required
As a suitable candidate you will have the following:
- Excellent Customer service skills over the phone and in person
- very good communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong IT skills, especially MS Office
- good attention to detail
- Enjoys working as part of a busy team
- Previous experience in a transport environment would be advantageous
This role is Mon-Fri 0830-1700 and the hourly rate is based on an annual salary of £18,500. Because of its location your own transport would be ideal.
