Warehouse FLT Driver

My client is looking to recruit a Warehouse / FLT driver for their site based in Malvern.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor as part of warehouse team
• Collecting & packing orders
• Drumming down of chemicals
• Loading & unloading transport
• Waste acceptance & segregation
• General warehouse responsibilities
• Completion and verifying pre-prepared paperwork are correct for chemical deliveries and despatch
• Preparing hazardous goods for safe transportation including labelling and packaging
• Forklift truck driver operator - off-loading/loading road vehicles
• Compliance with written and verbal instructions from management and internal paperwork systems and procedures.
• Housekeeping: Keeping waste transfer station area, PPE, equipment and tools clean, tidy and stored in line with instructions, company policy and waste permit conditions.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies
Personal Requirements

• Self-motivated
• Ability to work alone but also to work within a team
• Counterbalance forklift licence

Salary £9.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 (subject to change to suit operational requirements)
(8 hours per day, 40 hours per week) Holiday: 24 days per year plus bank holidays (Jan – Dec. 3-4 days req for Xmas)
This is a temp to perm role and a permanent contract will be offered after probationary period.
