Experienced PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK

Jark is a specialist Recruitment agency recruiting for an experienced and hardworking Purchase Ledger Clerk for our client based in Netherton, Liverpool. Working within the company's Accounts department, the successful candidate will have a positive approach to their work & be able to work to deadlines where necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager the role will be to assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the purchase ledger department and you will have responsibility for your own section of the ledger

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Matching, batching & coding of purchase invoices
• Ensuring all invoices are appropriately authorised before logging them on to system
• Checking and reconciling supplier statements
• Petty cash / Company Card reconciliation
• Query resolution
• Any other associated tasks as required commensurate with the role

Working Days - Monday to Friday
Working hours - 9.00am to 5.00pm

Skills Requirement

• Good communication skills with strong attention to detail • Ability to work well in a team while also able to work on your own initiative • Have experience of running a high volume purchase ledger • Have experience of Sage and be computer literate, with Excel skills • Be meticulous, organised and highly effective under pressure

Qualifications Requirement
