Adult/Childrens support worker

Jark Belfast are delighted to announce that we have recently won a tender for one of our most valued clients in Holywood, County Down for the supply of both Adult and Children's support workers.

The role of the support worker is to support services users to lead supported, fulfilling lives in a safe community environment where vulnerable adults and children with complex needs or learning disabilities, can maximise their full potential irrespective of ability.

The purpose of this role is to meet the physical, psychological, emotional and social needs of adults, children and/or young people with disabilities and challenging behaviour through delivering support and care and assisting them with their daily lives. This can be through supporting service users on the on site farm, collect fresh fruit and vegetables from the market garden for lunch or dinner or helping in a house setting.

We are currently recruiting for both part time and full time block bookings. Shifts can be a mixture of days, evenings, and weekends.
