Personal Care Worker

Jark KL is currently looking for numerous of personal care workers to work for one of our clients on permanent basis contract. At the present time, we are looking for an experienced individual to fill the role of Care Worker in a private domiciliary setting in Marshland St James, Wisbech. If you have prior experience working one to one with adults in a direct care role, we encourage you to apply for this position. We are seeking a patient and compassionate support/care worker to join our team and provide emotional and practical assistance to our client. In this role, you’ll make a significant difference in the quality of life for our client.

Personal care workers:

1. You should be committed to all aspects of dealing with the personal care for our
client and to observe and promote our client’s choice, independence, dignity, privacy, fulfilment and other rights.
2.To create and maintain good professional relationships with the client, their family
and other care and support workers such as physiotherapists etc.
3. A minimum of 2+years’ experience providing direct care in a private
domiciliary environment
4. Valid driving licence
5 . Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
6 . Compassionate about the care and well-being of others
7. Relevant NVQ or similar qualifications and manual handling

The right candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care and
assistance to our client with an acquired brain injury resulting in mobility and speech
difficulties.

Shifts are arranged on a 12-hour shift basis either (day shift) 8am to 8pm or
(overnight) 8pm to 8am.

weekday rate - £14.00 per hour
weekend rate - £15.00 per hour
weekday night shift - £120.00 per shift
weekend night shift - £150.00 per shift

Support Worker Duties and Responsibilities include:

All aspects of personal care and hygiene;
Cooking and preparing meals;
Shopping;
Driving;
Accompanying to appointments;
Collaborate with other support/care workers;
Assistance with the administration of medication;
Assistance with exercising and therapies;
