Line Leader

We are recruiting Production Leaders to work and manage a production line of semi skilled workers

Main Duties are:-

To ensure production manufactures the correct parts by quantity and quality meeting the requirements of the customer and the goals and objectives of the business in the management of cost to include, labour, material, OEE and quality.

Ensure all duties are performed in a safe and efficient manner within the parameters of current health and safety
legislation (HASAW Act 1974)

Machines start up as required, and the clearing down of all imps when jobs are completed.
Documentation is present on each machine.
All full time and temporary staff inducted and trained through a process of training needs analysis and then monitored and controlled through a skills matrix, and to actively conduct training in support of the training needs.
Manage break times
Production materials are correct to the B.O.M. at the appropriate place / location within the production area and are at the right status and location within the business SAP system.
Check equipment required for production are in good safe working order.

Stock kept to the business agreed level.
Ensure that the overall efficiency of each machine is monitored and controlled through the output of the process versus the planned output of the process and checked through cycle time, labour ratio, scrap, breakdowns, change overs and right first time.

To manage the production personnel ensuring control and discipline in order to have a safe and effective work place.

Also involves once materials and goods are on the pallet they will need to be shrink wrapped.
Ideally you will have experience within this type of work

Due to the location you will need to have your own transport

This position is temporary to permanent after 12 weeks

Shift pattern is 4 on / 4 off
7am - 7pm for 4 days
7pm - 7am for 4 nights

2 weeks of days and then 2 weeks of nights
