Moulding Operatives required in SS15, Laindon !
Are you experienced with plastic moulding manufacturing environment?
We are recruiting for a client of ours based in Laindon. This is an ongoing temp to perm booking. After 12 weeks you will be transferred to a permanent contract working for the client guaranteed.
(Please note we are looking for EXPERIENCED only so you must of worked in this before)
Shift Times – Late shifts 14.00-22.00
Pay (depending on experience) – up to £10.00hr
Duties:
· To operate injection moulding machines according to procedure.
· To trim excess material from parts if necessary.
· To segregate rejects by material type to allow regrind process.
· To regrind scrapped product for reuse.
· Ensure parts produced meet the criteria of the work instructions / visual aid.
· Carry out quality checks on moulded parts, as necessary.
· Accurately completes all logs, data input and written, to include hourly checks and downtime.
· Pack and identify product as per instructions.
· To perform preventive maintenance on machines.
· To follow work instructions as needed and may be asked to write, revise and train others to those instructions.
· To maintain a clean area and performs general housekeeping.
Skills/qualifications:
· Experience in a plastic moulding manufacturing environment.
· Able to perform basic math’s function.
· Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability.
· Proactive and innovative.
· To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude.
· The ability to prioritise workload.
· The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
