Production Operative

We are looking to recruit Production Operatives for a Food Factory based in Evesham.

Day shift

Immediate Start

Full training given

This is a temp to perm opportunity which may lead to permanent role being offered after probationary period.

Reporting To: Production Manager

General Role: To assist Production Management in all aspects of carrying out daily production tasks to ensure its continued success.

Deputised by: Other suitably experienced Operatives.

The role will involve

Assisting in the packing of all food products produced by the factory
Operating machinery and equipment as required for the above activity.
Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed.
Assisting with the achievement of production targets.
Minimising production costs.
Minimising wastage.

Quality, Food Safety & Hygiene:

Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards of food quality and food safety.
Complying with Company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
Monitoring and recording quality and food safety performance where applicable.

Health & Safety:
Working in a safe manner with due consideration for personal Health & Safety and that of co-workers at all times.

Learning & Development:
Attending Company Training courses/sessions which will support your continuous personal development to ensure our manufacturing capability keeps pace with or exceeds our customer requirements. It will cover; food quality, food safety, health & safety and other aspects of competence required by legislation.
Demonstrating competence in trained factory tasks.
Following information and instruction to the best of your ability.

Functioning to the best of your ability within the production team, treating other members of staff with dignity and respect.

Communicating effectively with co-workers and Management.
Any other duties as required to fulfil the company needs.
