We are currently looking for Laboratory Technician for a very successful company based in outskirts of Southend.
This position is on fix term contract that will end at the end of December.
Flexible hours between Monday and Sunday with weekly rest schedule. Salary is negotiable and depends on experience. Pay rate between £11- £14
Duties:
• Physic-chemical analysis of the product
• Organoleptic analysis of the product
• Verification and collaboration of laboratory equipment
• Creating the documentation according to quality management procedures
• Maintaining the stock levels as required for the smooth operation of the laboratory
• Providing GMP and Quality training to the production staff
• Data input
Expectations:
• Ideal candidate must have previous experience in food industry and quality assurance systems
• Knowledge of ISF standards
• Have Food Hygiene, GMP and traceability systems trainings
• Good knowledge of Excel and Word
