P/T Transport Business Development Executive

My client, a Transport Company with its base in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire is looking to recruit a Part-time New Business Development Executive which can be fully remote working. There is plenty of flexibility with this role as you can work 150-20 hours per week to suit yourself.

The aim of the role is to generate new business for the company as they look to grow the business over the next few years. You will generate opportunities by promoting the services the company can offer within the transport/logistics industry supporting the overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and execute an effective Business Development Strategy
- Grow and develop existing customer base identifying and developing new business opportunities / leads from new and existing clients at all stages of the sales cycle
- Ensure that future business development is planned in advance utilising a business prospect listing approach
- Focus on attracting and retaining profitable business maintaining a robust pipeline
- Maintain a good understanding of the business products/services and industry competition through self-development
- Utilise social media platforms using tried and tested methods
- Generate, distribute and present daily/weekly sales reports and updates to the stakeholders of the business

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Previous experience in a similar role ideally with the Transport Industry
- Solid Commercial acumen with the passion and drive to sell ideas, products and services and a strategic approach to securing new business
- Build lasting professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Be proactive and self-disciplined at all times
- Excellent Communication skills both written and oral
- Full UK Driving License as there may be some requirement for you to visit potential new clients on-site

The salary on offer will be determined by the successful candidates previous and relevant experience
