PA to Director - Leeds City Centre

Jark Bradford Ltd Commercial Division are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a PA to Director to work in Leeds city centre

Our client is a UK-based, leading global player for distribution of Aviation Lubricants & Consumables, Spares & Aviation Components, Repair & Maintenance, Safety & GSE, Tooling and Tyres. They are headquartered in Leeds city centre and have two regional offices; one in Dubai World Central for the Middle East region and another in Tallinn covering Eastern Europe and the Baltics. Our client is proud to work closely with the UK Government for all export-related activities in its target markets.

They have a fantastic opportunity for a PA with Previous relevant experience in similar role to join their vibrant team.

PA to Director
37.5 hours per week
Salary £21,500 to £23,000 per annum DOE
This is a permanent role

This role will support our Director and report to our Office and Facilities Manager. We are looking for individuals who have demonstrable previous experience of working in a fast-paced and rapidly growing business.

Main aspects of the role:
• Manage Director’s outlook mailbox and calendar, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary
• Process and respond to incoming correspondence, including screening telephone calls to the main office line
• Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation, including the acquisition of visas or other associated travel documentation
• Organising meetings, attendance at events and conferences
• Liaising with stakeholders at all levels, including suppliers and customers
• Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings and take minutes/ notes
• Involvement of assistance towards non work-related activities as and when required
• Prepare meeting rooms for business lunches, ordering food and drink as required
• Ability to offer a degree of flexibility regarding out of hours contact, given the nature of the business

We are looking for applicants with the following:

• Previous relevant experience in a similar role for a fast-paced business
• Ability to positively respond to and accept changes associated with rapid business growth
• Demonstrable resilience in managing a high workload and conflicting priorities, whilst working under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels of seniority, confidently and respectfully articulating sometimes difficult messages
• Experience of managing electronic diaries and scheduling meetings, including the creation of agendas
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard IT applications
• Experience in taking notes or minutes accurately
• Evidence of working in an environment that offers constructive professional feedback and using this as a positive continuous improvement opportunity

• Degree level qualification in Business Administration or another relevant subject (Desirable)
• As a minimum, GCSEs in Maths and English at level 4 or C grade (or functional skills level 2/ equivalent qualification)
• Additional qualifications in Business Administration, Administration or other relevant qualification
• Customer Service or equivalent qualification
