CADCAM Engineer

We are recruiting a CADCAM Engineer for an established manufacturer with a full order book and massive capital investment.

It is expected the candidate will come from an Engineering background and will have ideally used Alpha Cam or a similar system, used to working with DXF& STEP file along with drawing parts from scratch.

Ability to recognize and implement improvement on existing methods, working with lean manufacturing techniques would be an advantage.

• Be able to edit existing CAM programs to the most efficient way for production operating.
• Openly share Knowledge and experience with all other colleagues and help support and encourage apprentices when required.
• Work with planning department on all methods and programming to achieve continuous improvement in all areas.
• Work to drawings samples or sketches (Good understanding of Engineering Drawings is essential)
• Previous experience working to Aerospace standards would be advantageous.
• All work to be carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible, to include all material and tooling.
• Always work with-in safety guidelines and adhere to all safety instructions.
• Support all company programmes such as lean manufacturing.
Note:
• 8 till 4 Mon- Thurs, 8 till 2.45pm Fri - day Shift
• Salaried of £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
• 37.5 hr per week.

• All machining is with Composite Material.
