Purpose of Job Role
To service and repair equipment and vehicles in accordance with the Company and Manufacturer’s service schedules.

Principal Responsibilities
• To carry out repair and maintenance work on plant, machinery, vehicles and equipment as required.
• To accurately record job information and maintenance undertaken.
• To carry out scheduled service inspections and servicing on vehicles and plant in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• To diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and any other repairs on vehicles and plant.
• To carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s HSEQ procedures ensuring that the workplace is safe to carry out the work required and that the necessary precautions are taken to ensure your safety and that of others affected by your actions.
• To complete maintenance records and reports accurately and on time.
• To conduct all activities in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures.
• To be conscious of costs where possible.

Qualifications/ Experience
• Knowledge and experience of burning and welding techniques essential.
• Knowledge and experience of working with heavy plant machinery and equipment and the tools and techniques to work effectively on maintenance.
• Experience of working in a garage workshop environment essential.
• Experience and skill required in all aspects of diesel fitting essential.
• Experience in fabrication and Quarry repair work essential.
