IT Technician- Azure

My client, based in the Kidderminster area of Worcestershire area, is looking to recruit an IT Technician with a very strong focus on MS Azure, on a Permanent basis.

This role is for an IT Support Engineer who can work from the office as well as visit customer on site. Working as part of the Technical team you will have experience of working on a help desk and be capable of a degree of installation and configuration.

The main responsibilities for this role include

- ensuring SLA's are met and exceeded
- Regular checks of Remote Server Monitoring of customer systems
- Regular check of Support Mail and Support Systems
- Support of Windows 2008 through to 2019, Active Directory, DND/DHCP, Group Policy, plus MSP technologies such as Remote Server monitoring, Managed Antivirus, Cloud Backup, Patch Management
- Regular checking of support mail and support systems for new jobs and resolution or escalation
- assisting with in-house prep of File Servers, Switches, Routers, UPS's, Routers, Printers/Scanners, etc.,
- assist with in-house repairs of equipment
- ensuring loan equipment is ready for use

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Good understanding of Azure Migration/Management
- Experience of Cloud/System Management
- previous experience in a similar role, ideally up to 3 years
- strong communications skills
- works efficiently and collaboratively
- work well a part of a bigger team
- work closely with management team
- strong technical knowledge and understanding of ERP/accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of MS Office/365, Teams, Azure, SQL and SharePoint would be required
- confident and polite telephone manner

The salary on offer is up to £30,000, dependent on relevant and suitable experience
