Maintenance Electrician

My client based in the Worcestershire area is looking tor recruit a Maintenance Electrician on a Permanent basis.

This role is to work as part of a Maintenance Team, responsible for delivery a range of planed and reactive maintenance as well as upgrade and new installation work.

The main responsibilities of the role include

- Undertake day-to-day maintenance and repair including conveyors, plant maintenance and general building maintenance
- be responsible for electrical breakdowns, repairs and pre-planned maintenance
- ensure defects related to plant and equipment are repaired cost effectively and inline with procedure
- to ensure that any equipment related to your role is not used unless it is safe to do so
- Undertake pre-planned programmes related to Electrical Inspections, Testing, Emergency Lighting and Electrical Services and ensure compliance at all times
- Ensure efficient use of resources with regard to equipment, materials and personnel
- ensure regulations are implemented and maintained to the highest stands of H & S
- maintain accurate records and within set timescales
- maintain prescribed schedules of work

The person specifications for this role include

- 17th Edition or equivalent is essential
- Knowledge of Panel Wiring, 3 phase motors, Siemens invertors, safety relay systems and production balers
- ideally have 3 years experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or process environment
- be a strong team player
- excellent communication skills

The salary on offer is negotiable and the hours are Mon-Fri 1430-2230
