On behalf of Our Client we require an experienced and credible MAINTENANCE ENGINEER based at their factory site in Beeston, Leeds LS11

This is a classic Maintenance Engineer role to cover all usual aspect roles within a busy manufacturing facility.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities:
• To work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running and operation of the department
• Maintain all production machines
• Continuous improvement project/task work.
• Ensuring operational optimum by providing a quick response to all service users
• Liaising with setters and operators to ensure smooth running of the machines

Main Duties:
• To maintain existing equipment, through reactive and planned maintenance.
• Fault finding and carrying out repairs during breakdowns.
• Assist with modifications of current machinery.
• Assist with new installations of machinery.
• Accurate record keeping and timely completion of paperwork
• Working to 5S plan
• Assist with running machines where needed
• Liaise with shift managers through handovers before and after every shift

Key Skills:
• City & Guilds trained/qualified engineer
• Experienced in pneumatics, use of compressed air, cutting machines and fabrication.
• Lathe & Milling advantageous
• Comfortable with manual handling.

Person Specification:
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach.
• Ability to self-manage your time during the working day.
• Ability to work independently
• Impeccable time keeping.
