My client based in the Tewkesbury area of Gloucestershire is looking to recruit MIG and TIG Welders on a Permanent basis

The main responsibilities associated with he role include
- Ensure all work meets the highest level of quality
- Be reliable
- able to work under pressure
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- able to read fabrication and engineering drawings
- able to understand and work to geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part
- Must be able to understand welding process specifications and welding symbols
- Check parts for accuracy and quality
- Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly
- a solid understanding of welding equipment and welding accessories.
- Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently.
- be flexible as possible with working hours at times of heavy workload
This position is Mon-Fri 0730-1600 with plenty of overtime on offer, the hourly pay rate is up to £14
