Production Operative

Jark Bradford Ltd Technical & Engineering Division are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent position for a Production Operatives (Hard Goods)

The position is working with a world-renowned manufacturing and engineering business based in Bradford that is easily commutable from the M62 corridor. People and their employees are at the forefront of everything they do, supported with training, and a modern working facility within a friendly dynamic team.

We are currently seeking a number of experienced Production Operatives (Hard Goods) to work in their manufacturing department.

Duties of the position:

• Assembling aluminium, steel, stainless steel and plastic components to assemble products
• Be able to trouble shoot issues and change tooling when required
• To be able to understand CAD drawings
• Installation and functional testing of electrical wiring
• Experience of using a lathe and/or milling machine would be beneficial.
• Understanding and experience of electrical 12V and 24V systems is also essential
• working with air powered hand tools to build complex products
• Use hand and power tools
• General assembly work from various other products made of fabric, plastics, foam and vinyl

Hours of work are 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am-3pm on Fridays to work 39 hours per week

This is a Temp to perm role, immediate start upon interview, once taken on permanently good benefits on offer with the opportunity to continue training on various roles with the company.

If you have worked in an Assembly environment and had exposure to operating machinery and worked with hand tools and are keen to join a company that will provide training, then you will be perfect for this position.

What's on offer?

In return for your commitment can expect 28 days including stats and will receive ongoing training and support, financial rewards which will earn you 17,238 moving to circa £19,000 - £21,000 dependents on skills and experience.
