Quality Inspector

My client based in Worcestershire is looking to recruit a Quality Inspector on a Permanent basis.

Their machinery range is conceived, designed, built and tested on site, delivered to the factory at one end and the finished article is delivered at the otherso they require a Quality Inspector to support a manufacturing operation

You will be part of the Quality team and check parts before they are delivered to customers. Your team will be used to address quality concerns, drive continuous improvement activities and ensure adherence to Quality Systems within the production environment. This makes this role important in driving a culture of quality in manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities will include

• Inspect a variety of equipment, immediately prior to delivery to the customer. This may include visual inspection, gauge checks, verification of part marking and evaluation of supporting documentation.
• Record inspection findings and prepare reports for communication across the manufacturing team.
• Assist in the development of final inspection plans for new projects within manufacturing.
• Any other activities as directed by line manager.

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

• Welding experience is essential for this role
• Relevant experience of Quality Inspection of fabricated and painted parts
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good time management with an ability to plan and prioritise work.
• Good PC skills.

This shift pattern for this role is a straight Monday-Friday, 0800-1630 and the salary on offer is up to £35k, depending on suitable and relevant experience.
