Quality Inspector

Jark Bradford Ltd Technical & Engineering Division are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for a Quality Inspector to assist with the inspection of components, subassemblies, and finished products during the course of production and at final Inspection, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards expected by customers including documentation requirements.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in Bingley, BD16. They are one of the world's leading specialists in the design and manufacture of gaskets and high performance sealing products. They have been involved in the oil, gas and power sectors for over 50 years and hold many approvals from global oil and gas companies and adhere to ISO9001.

Duties of the role
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished components, sub-assemblies, and products.
- Read thoroughly all works order instructions, drawings and bill of material instructions to ensure all the customers’ requirements are identified and fulfilled (including all reports completed, tests requirements met etc).
- Provide input for inspection methods and improvements related to the job
- Assist in the investigations of process related quality issues.
- Manage your work schedule to maximise throughput and help meet on time deliveries.
- Raise reports from dimensional checks (manual measurement or CMM), hardness reports and / or surface finish reports. Ensure all required features are reported and the relevant customer procedures are referenced.

The Candidate
- Three or more years of experience in an engineering role.
- Apprentice trained
- Experience in a quality control environment would be an advantage.
- Shall be familiar with ISO-9001 or similar Quality Systems
- Knowledge of CMM

Working Hours: Continental Shift pattern 6am- 6pm, 3 on 3 off

Pay: Between £13.00 - £16.50/h
