Receptionist - Commercial


My client, a manufacturing company based in Lye, is looking to recruit a Receptionist with some admin experience on a Permanent basis.

You will be the first point of contact to meet and great visitors, ensuring they abide by company policies in relation to security and safety at all times. as well as providing Admin support to different departments as required

The main function of the role includes

- Setting up of Reception, i.e. setting the TV’s, update with visitor names, and appointments
- Operate the switchboard and taking clear messages as required
- Managing all deliveries/ collections
- Post duties including opening external post, franking/stamping daily external post
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain up to date telephone lists with leavers and new starters
- Maintain fire roll records for office staff and site visitors
- Produce Invoices on SAGE
- Chase carriers/customers for evidence of export and record accordingly
- Locating missing invoices/credit notes, copying and sending to accounts department and customers

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- previous experience in a similar role
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Experience of SAGE would be an advantage
- Good attention to detail
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Good communicator
- Team player – supportive and collaborative
- Work confidentially and with sensitive information

The salary on offer is up to £25,000 and the role is Monday-Thursday 7.30am - 4pm finish with a 1pm finish on Fridays.
