Site Engineer - Overhead Lines

We are looking for a site engineer to carry out a supervisory position within the electricity transmission and distribution industry. The site engineer is required to work with overhead lines.

We are looking for a site engineer with basic project management skills to act as an interface between the on site contractors and the principle contractors. The site engineer will supervise contractors ensure that work is carried out to budget and time and will ensure that health and safety requirements are continually upheld.

A thorough undertanding/experience of site management is essential. All applicants must have BESC and Persons qualifications to be considered for the role. TP144 qualification is desirable but not essential and candidates should have a mechanical or electrical background with an excellent understanding of health and safety regulations, including CDM regulations. Overhead line experience is essential.

For candidates who meet the above criteria but do not have overhead lines experience, a substation/cables role is also available.
