TEMP TO PERM ROLES!!
We are currently recruiting for our client, an importing company based near Rochford. Due to the location of this company, only candidates with their own transport will be considered.
Working within an established team, you will be responsible for assisting with unloading ship containers and allocating stock to the correct hold within the yard until the order is due to be distributed.
The ideal candidates will:
*Have shipping / importing experience or previously worked within a port / terminal
*Possess relevant Forklift/counterbalance certificates
*Have a good grasp of the English language, both verbally and written
*Be careful and concientious when operating machinery to limit breakage and waste of product
*Previously manouvered timber loads with forklift vehicles
This position is ongoing on a day shift, and will generally be 7am-6pm Monday to Friday
Overtime is paid above 40 hours
We must also make candidates aware, this is an all weather operation - but full PPE will be provided
During interview you will be required to demonstrate your capabiltiy of operating a forklift by completing a short exercise.
