Job Title: Night Shift Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Location: Herefordshire (HR4)
Working Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 4 days on, 4 days off
Rate:
Base Rate: £14.91 per hour
Overtime Rate (after 37.5 hours): £23.25 per hour (Overtime and weekend night shifts available)
Weekend Night Rate: £19.00
Company Overview:. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our night shift team.
Job Description: As a Night Shift Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of pallets within our yard. Your primary responsibilities will include safely operating a counterbalance forklift to transport pallets from one end of the yard to the other. This role is vital to maintaining our high standards of productivity and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a counterbalance forklift to move pallets and materials.
Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of pallets.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
Previous forklift driving experience preferred.
Ability to work night shifts on a 4-days-on, 4-days-off schedule.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Good communication skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy pallets.
