My client, an engineering company based in the Malvern area is looking to recruit a CNC Turner/Setter on a permanent basis.
The main requirements for the role include
- Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls
- Programming from print drawings
- Small batch work using a variety of different materials
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Good working knowledge of component dimensions using various inspection equipment - including Micrometers, Verniers and Plug Gauges.
- Good working knowledge of engineering drawings
- Ability to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications
This role is based on a 37 hour week with an early finish on Fridays, the pay rate is up to £15.50 an hour and their is overtime available at time and a half.
