Electrician

Are you an experienced electrician who would like the opportunity to progress and develop your skills further within a rapidly growing business?

My client are a long-established company based in Welwyn Garden City specialising in a wide variety of installation and maintenance of electrical services. We have been serving London and surrounding home counties since 1999.

Here at AAC we are actively seeking a reliable, knowledgeable electrician to join our team and assist with our continued growth.

Responsibilities

· Carrying out electrical installation/remedial works both Commercial & Domestic in line with current regulations

· Carrying out all aspects of electrical works on projects from installation to test and commissioning within agreed programmes

· Providing procurement information for materials required for projects, ensuring the distribution and safe keeping of materials on site and notification of any defects/shortfalls

· Maintaining an effective liaison with the Client or Clients representative and advising line manager where appropriate

· Completing testing and commissioning certification

· Providing technical advice to employees and clients

· Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements on site

· Ensuring all relevant paperwork is returned to the office in a timely fashion

Requirements (Essential)

City & Guilds 236 Parts 1, 2 (or City & Guilds 2330)
NVQ3
City & Guilds 18th Edition
A full UK valid driving license is essential
· Must have excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail

· You must have good organisation skills to ensure deadlines are met, and be able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to get to the heart of a problem to take it through to completion

· Basic computer knowledge

Requirements (Desirable)

· City & Guilds 2391(or 2394/5)

· It is desirable for the candidate to have IPAF/PASMA and CSCS however this is not essential as the correct training can be offered by the company to obtain these.

Rewards

· Salary: £37,500k - £45,000 per year, depending on experience plus overtime

· The successful candidate will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays with the benefit of accumulating additional days annually after 2 years
