Mig Weldern / Fabricator (Modular)

My client are looking for Welder / Fabricators from a Modular Building background.

We are looking for time served Welder / Fabricators who have experienced within structural / modular working environment.

The Role

To carry out, to the highest quality standards, metal welding tasks that are required in the manufacture of large generator housing units and all ancillary parts.
Welders will be expected to weld to a high quality standard, MIG - mild steel to mild steel ranging from 0.7mm to 20mm.

Requirements

Neat, cosmetic welder to do all external welds that will be visible to our clients.
Current welding codings preferred.
Uncoded welders will be considered if competent at fabricating and training will be given to reach the required coding standards.
While no formal school qualifications are needed, good numeracy skills and a mechanical mindset are necessary as well as the ability to work at heights and/or in confined spaces.
The ability to interpret engineering drawings is desirable.
It is necessary to be able to work safely under your own initiative and as part of a team.
Industry experience of benefit would include structural steel welding in heavy industry, nuclear supply chain industry, or similar environments in or around data centre enclosure fabrication and weld assembly.
