My client based in the Stourport area is looking to recruit a Production Planner on a Permanent basis.
You will plan all aspects of production, working with the other departments in the business to ensure the production process runs as smoothly as possible.
The main responsibilities associates with the role includes
- Take responsibility for Material Planning through all stages of production through to shipment
- Ensure production targets are met on a daily basis
- Carry out Capacity/booking reviews
- Take an active role in Load and Capacity planning
- Produce future production plans for months and quarters ahead of time
- Take accountability for Inventory planning
- Ensure current Inventory is optimally used
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing is essential
- An ability to implement Lean Manufacturing principles
- An ability to manage customer expectations
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Good IT skills incl MS Office and ideally have experience of MRP
- Ensure budgets are adhered to and costs are kept under control
The salary on offer is up to £40,000
