Welder/Fabricator

Jark Bradford Ltd Technical & Engineering Division are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Welder/Fabricator to work in their busy fabrication shop in Bradford on a permenant contract.

Successfully applicant will be an experienced Fabricator Welder with extensive experience in stainless steel, Mild steel and aluminium to join a small close-knit team. You will work on interesting, one off, short batch highly challenging projects

As the Fabricator Welder you will be responsible for:

• Reading, interpreting and working to engineering drawings with minimal supervision
• Producing components in stainless steel, carbon Steel, aluminium assembling and welding fabrications
• Items include but not limited to stainless steel & carbon pipework, structural steel base’s, light plate engineering, general fabrications.
• TIG and MIG welding
• Operation of fabrication equipment as required.
• Basic mechanical assembly.
As the Fabricator Welder you will be:
• Highly experienced and familiar with working in a range of materials and thickness's to produce complex bespoke fabrications
• Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of MIG / TIG welding – experience in weld procedures and possibly previously been certified would be advantageous.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively and complete all assigned tasks to strict standards and specifications
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Ideally hold a relevant welding / fabrication apprenticeship / qualifications
• Ideally have experience of working to BS 287 and BS 15614, and EN1090

The company produce equipment for the water, oil, gas, food, flood defence and power generation industry and have experienced significant growth recently. They offer a clean working environment, a great team of people and the opportunity to progress within the business.

Overtime is paid at 1.5x's over 39 hours and regularly available.

Pay rate is up to £14ph dependent on experience

Working hours are 39 a week, 7.30-4pm Monday to Thursday with 3pm finish on Fridays
