Vacancy - Project Structural Engineer
For 30 years our client has provided a quality civil and structural consultancy service to businesses for the UK and Middle East, across all market sectors including both public and commercial projects.
To meet with increasing workload and an expanding client base, we have been assigned to recruit a Project Structural Engineer to be based in their Leeds office.
The successful candidate will be well versed in computer analysis. The department uses TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Fastrack Portal Frame, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame and MasterSeries Retaining Wall.
The successful candidate will be required to co-ordinate the work of graduates and technicians.
Requirements
• Working towards Chartered status.
• Ability to design in all construction materials and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Must hold a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Key duties and Responsibilities:-
• Responsible for working within a team of engineers and technicians in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects.
• Responsible for co-ordinating delivery of structures, drainage and highways elements of projects.
• Responsible for the analysis and design of overall building structures using Design/Analysis software.
• Responsible for assisting in the coordination of CAD/Revit technicians ensure that an appropriate level of design information is included on production information.
• Visiting sites and attending site meetings.
• Involvement in internal and project design meetings.
• Attend external design meetings.
• Prepare correspondence and reports.
Salary £30000 to £40000 depending on experience. Based Leeds. Hours 845 – 515 Monday to Friday. Refdr812. draper@jark.co.uk
